Getting started with cmdmed

Every cohort has the same three problems in the run-up to OSCEs: not enough SimMan slots, not enough practice partners, and not enough time. cmdmed is built to take the first two off the table so you can spend what time you have actually practising.

1. Pick a starting point

If you know which station is coming up, head straight to OSCE stations and search for it. If you'd rather build knowledge first, Notes is organised by subject and topic, and Questions gives you exam-style practice with instant explanations.

2. Run a station like it's the real thing

Each OSCE station puts you opposite a case the way an examiner would: a history to take, a set of results to interpret, or a conversation to hold carefully. There's no slot to book and no one else waiting on you, so you can run it as many times as it takes to feel comfortable.

3. Track what's actually improving

Your Stats page keeps a record of what you've covered and where you're still losing marks, so revision time goes toward the gaps that are actually costing you rather than the topics you already know cold.
